M261. Various obverse prototypes, reverse type of Ti. Claudius Nero, after 79 BC; cf. Cr-383/1 (R), 4.34g. Both sides rather stylized, blundered, recognizable reverse legend and control number.
M262. Obverse type of L. Flamininus Chilio, reverse type of L. Papius, after 79 BC; cf. Cr-302/1 (O) and 384/1 (R), 3.25g. Both sides a bit stylized; slightly crude but accurate legends. Would be classified as "Copy" if types were properly matched.
M263. Obverse type of C. Piso Frugi, reverse type of C. Postumius, after 74 BC; cf. Cr-408/1 (O) and 394/1 (R), 4.10g. Both sides stylized; blundered, perhaps barely recognizable reverse legend.
M264+. Types of L. Roscius, after 64 BC; cf. Cr-412/1, 3.72g, serrate. Obverse somewhat stylized; reverse "barbarous" and quite appealing; badly blundered but recognizable legends.
M265. Obverse type of Q. Cassius Longinus, reverse type of T. Carisius, after 46 BC; cf. Cr-428/1 (O) and 464/3 (R), 4.72g.. Both sides stylized, the reverse more so; blundered, meaningless, unusually crude legends.
M266+. Types of Julius Caesar, after 46 BC; cf. Cr-468/1, 3.34g, serrate. Both sides somewhat stylized, the obverse more so; slightly blundered, essentially accurate reverse Caesar. Would be classified as "Copy" were it not for the inappropriate serration.
