M290+. Various obverse prototypes; reverse type of M. Herennius, after 108 BC; cf. Cr-308/1 (R), 3.52g. Both sides somewhat stylized; no obverse legend; blundered, abbreviated, recognizable reverse legend.
M291+. Types of C. Coelius Caldus, after 104 BC; cf. Cr-318/1, 3.42g, serrate. Both sides "barbarous"; blundered, meaningless, inappropriately placed obverse legend; X before and behind Roma; blundered, retrograde, upside down reverse legend, perhaps barely recognizable. Another possible prototype is C. Cassius, but no likely prototype accounts for the serration.

Both sides stylized; blundered, nearly abstract, perhaps barely recognizable obverse legend; blundered, meaningless reverse legend. Note five rear horses' legs, and the apparent "ghost" third horse; has the die perhaps been altered from a triga or quadriga?
M296+. Various obverse prototypes, reverse type of A. Albinus, after 96 BC; cf. Cr-330/1 (R), 4.11g. Both sides "barbarous"; weak and uneven strike; no obverse legend other than X; abstract, meaningless reverse legend.
M297+. Types of L. Calpurnius Piso Frugi, after 90 BC; cf. Cr-340/1, 3.87g. Both sides a bit stylized; no obverse legend; blundered, recognizable reverse legend.
